Spencer is a Florida native who was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Fl. Spencer has been fishing the waters in and around Tampa Bay for his entire life, almost exclusively from a kayak, spending hundreds of days on the water every year. After spending over a decade fishing exclusively from paddle craft, Spencer has honed his skills as both a paddler and an angler. ​Spencer has also been successful as a tournament angler accruing many first and top place finishes around the state of Florida. When not out fishing, you can find him working at his local kayak and outdoor shop, Osprey Bay Outdoors. Off the water Spencer is also a full time student and contributor to several local fishing publications. ​Spencer specializes in light tackle fishing with artificial lures for snook, redfish, sea trout, flounder, and tarpon. His kayak preference is the Redfish 14 by Native Watercraft which he powers with an Aquabound Surge Carbon.
